Nodes can be powered by numerous methods. All of the Nodes can be powered from external low-voltage DC ranging from 10 to 30Vdc directly wired to their power inputs. The Flex-Power Nodes can additionally be powered from a 3.6 to 5.5vdc source. Options for power include:

• External Vdc Power:
  All of the Node models can be powered from an external power source (battery, PLC supply, wall adapter, etc) with 10 to 30Vdc output and approximately 100mA of current capability. The Flex-Power model Nodes can also be powered with a 3.6 to 5.5Vdc supply.

• IP-67 120/240Vac Power Supply:
  An IP-67 packaged 24Vdc output power supply is available that can be line powered from 120 or 240Vac input power. This power supply can deliver up to 200mA at 24Vdc, supplying sufficient power for multiple Nodes as well as current loop power or Vdc powered transducers.

• Battery Power Packs:
  Flex-Power Nodes can be powered from the DX81 External Battery Supply Module which contains a single replaceable 3.6V lithium D-cell battery housed into an IP-67 enclosure or the higher capacity DX81H which contains six lithium D-cells housed in an IP-67 enclosure.

• Photovoltaic Recharging Power Pack
  The BWA-SOLAR-001 is a self-contained power source to power Nodes from solar energy. The Power Pack consists of a rechargeable battery pack, a charge controller and a photovoltaic panel which provides the battery recharging current. The unit is provided complete with pipe mounting capability.
