The IntelliLogger™ Network Enabled
Data Logging and Alarming is a fantastic new remote monitoring
and recording instrument that incorporates Internet and Network
Series Stack capabilities, providing news levels of ease-of-use,
convenience, flexibility and reporting capabilities. Never before
has a Web page serving data logging system been so easy to use,
all due to the most recent upgrade of HyperWare-II. HyperWare-II,
the graphical, icon-based software environment used with the IntelliLogger
makes communication, programming and data logging operation easier
than any other portable data logging system on the market.
Sensitive site and equipment monitoring
is more important than ever and the IntelliLogger remote site
and equipment monitor allows for secure continuous monitoring.
Able to perform a variety of tasks simultaneously the IntelliLogger
can reliably monitor a system, record critical operating parameters,
generate information for graphic and standard web pages, display
real-time data, and send email alarms with embedded data or ftp
data to an Enterprise Wide Database. Nothing beats the IntelliLogger
for ease-of-use and flexibility, for the monitoring of your critical
assets.
Battery or AC powered, the IntelliLogger™
is ideally suited for OEM applications providing for more secure
operation, preventative maintenance, FDA compliance or R&D
activities. Ideal monitoring applications include: cogeneration
equipment, chilled water systems, photovoltaic equipment,
stack emissions, remeditation sites, water treatment and
many more.
There are three IntelliLogger systems
available, the IL-80, IL-20 and IL-10.

The system is programmed via
HyperWare-II running on a Windows laptop or desktop PC. Once
programmed the logger is installed and deployed in the application.
Enabling the logger initiates data collection and data processing
according to the resident program, data is stored internally in
battery backed-up memory or on a removable compact flash memory
card. User programmable `on-the-fly' data reduction of sampled
inputs and intelligent logging methods result in optimized memory
utilization, without sacrifice in signal replication.
When alarms or scheduled events occur the logger can: initiate
an email, ftp data file download, page multiple pagers, trigger
external alarms via a software controllable output, and display
messages on the LCD display.
Communications via telephone modem, RF modem, cell phone, Ethernet,
RS-232 and USB allows for data transfer, real-time trending of
data, remote control, and reprogramming of the IntelliLogger™
from a remote PC site.
The IL-80 and IL-20 are capable of further I/O expansion via the Logic Beach provided B-Bus, a serial bus network which allows the addition of up to 16 additional ILIM-7 Interface Modules. The ILIM-7 is a stand-alone Interface Module containing 8 isolated differential inputs. Each input may be individually configured as a J, K, E, T, R, or S thermocouple, DC voltage to ± 2 volts or mADC input to ± 22mA. The first four inputs have an extended DC voltage range to ± 30 volts.
The ILIM-7 is connected to the IL-80 and IL-20 with a standard Cat-5 cable. This allows for ILIM-7 to be placed at distances up to a combined total of 100 feet from the System Base, close to the sensors being monitored. A BBus Power Booster is required to supply additional power for systems uses more than 4 ILIM-7s.
ILIM-7: Analog Interface Module.
Eight differential, bi-polar, isolated inputs. Connect via B-Bus.
Field selectable inputs types for Thermocouples, DC voltage
and DCmA current. Includes 2 foot Ethernet cable. Up to three
ILIM-7 Interface Modules may be connected.
