Description: The RH-1A Relative Humidity probe is an inexpensive,
wide input range, low-power humidity sensor. The
RH-1A contains a rugged capicitive humidity sensing
element that can output RH from 0 to 100% and withstand
direct immersion. See the Data
Logger Selection Guide for help with locating
the appropriate instrument for your inputs. |
Data logger Interface:
The RH-1A provides a linear 0 to 1Vdc output corresponding to 0 to 100% relative humidity. This sensed signal can be directly connected to one of the ModuLogger "Mini" analog inputs, one of the ModuLogger System Base or MLIM-1 Interface Modules and/or the HyperLogger HLIM-1 Interface Modules input channels. Scaling and other desired data manipulation is readily handled in the programming of the logger using the powerful HyperWare software.
The unit can be powered from a DC source in the range of 7 to 28Vdc and is quick to stabilize after application of power. Due to its quick stabilization after power-up, the unit can be powered on just prior to taking a reading, sampled, then powered off to conserve logger battery energy. The unit can be powered directly by the ModuLogger, Mini, or HyperLogger system batteries (optionally switched through a logger output relay) or from a PSM-2 Power Supply Module in conjunction with any of the Logic Beach data logging systems.Specifications:
Operating Temperature -10 to 60C Accuracy better than +/-3% over 10 to 90%RH Operating Range 0 to 100%RH Stability better than +/-2% over 2 years Excitation Voltage 7 to 28 Vdc Current Consumption 2 mA Output Signal 0 to 1 Vdc corresponding to 0 to 100%RH Probe Dimensions 0.47" dia, 2.7 " long Cable Jacketed multi-conductor; (specify length at time of order)
